BREAKING NEWS: Rams star was discovered dead in his home town in…

Rams’ Kyren Williams ranked surprisingly low by NFL coaches and executives

In 2024, Kyren Williams had an incredible season. He tied for seventh place in the NFL in terms of rushing touchdowns and finished third in terms of rushing yards. The Los Angeles Rams’ decision to switch to the pistol formation in 2023 was very beneficial to Williams, as it helped him have a career year.

Coaches and executives did not consider Williams to be among the NFL’s best backs despite his output. Williams was included in the “Also received votes” category by coaches and executives in an ESPN article that ranked the top running backs in the NFL. Williams was also not nominated for honorable mention.

Williams was categorized among athletes such as Najee Harris, Raheem Mostert, Tony Pollard, and James Conner. Williams’ exclusion from the top-10 ranking makes sense if his durability issues and position behind the Rams offensive line were the main causes of worry. Sadly, no information on Williams was published, so we are unaware of any potential defense.

D’Andre Swift was surprisingly named an honorable mention. You would assume that playing behind a strong offensive line and durability would be universal penalties for Williams. When you look at these rankings, it seems like athleticism has a far larger influence than film. Although output is equally significant, it should be taken into consideration otherwise it becomes a Combine rankings. In next updates, perhaps, Williams will receive a higher ranking and some well-earned recognition for his performance on the field.
