Leicester City vs. Liverpool: Team Information

Liverpool will again be without Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita against Leicester City on Monday night.
The Reds travel to the King Power Stadium in search of a seventh straight Premier League win, but injured Firmino and Keita will not be part of their squad, along with Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic and Calvin Ramsay, who are all out for the rest of the season season.
Asked if Firmino and Keita are available, Jürgen Klopp said on Friday: “No, they weren’t in team training yet.
“I saw Bobby at practice yesterday and it looks like he’s almost there, but I don’t think he’ll be there this weekend. If I walk out of here and he’s in session, I’d be surprised. I assume we will start coaching the team with him after the Leicester game. And Naby, no.

After a frantic run of five games in two weeks, Klopp – who revealed no new concerns about his fitness at his pre-match press conference – enjoyed the rarity of an eight-day gap between victory at Brentford and the on Mondays with the Foxes.

“If you have it, you need to use it and that’s what we’re trying to do,” said the manager of the multi-session opportunity at the AXA Training Center.
“Now we have time again and of course we try to make use of it. I want to see that we’ve been training together all week, I want to see that next week, I want to see small changes, I want to see improvements, it’s true. “To do that we have to do the right thing in training and so far this week I’m pretty confident we’ve managed to do that. no, we have to be ready for a real fight, but at crucial times we need common solutions and we are working on them.

Leicester’s Ricardo Perei

ra has returned to training after suffering a hamstring problem, while Kelechi Iheanacho remains sidelined with a groin injury.
Manager Dean Smith told the media on Friday he expects to have the same squad available as in last Monday’s 5-3 loss at Craven Cottage.
“Nobody left the team [against Fulham],” Smith said. “Ricky [Pereira] is back in full training, so we are who we really were.
“[Iheanacho] is expected to train earlier rather than later next week. We thought he only had two days to prepare for the Newcastle game, but he’s ahead of schedule which is a huge advantage for us.”

Ryan Bertrand, James Justin and Jannik Vestergaard have been absent for a long time.
