Price set for Milan and Arsenal target Sesko

Benjamin Sesko, a transfer target for Milan and Arsenal, has a €65 million release clause now that he finished the season with RB Leipzig.

A unique clause that increases in value based on the center-forward’s season-long play is part of his contract. The clause was able to increase from €45 million to a maximum of €72 million, but as the season came to an end today, it was fixed at €65 million for this summer instead.

Sesko is anticipated to be a sought-after commodity on the transfer market after scoring 19 goals and dishing out three assists for RB Leipzig across all competitions. When Slovakia plays in the June–July EURO 2024 competition, his profile might rise even further. Sesko is rumoured to be on the wish list of both Milan and Arsenal, who have previously met with his entourage.

The two teams appear to have similar goals in mind, as they are anticipated to compete for Joshua Zirkzee, the centre forward for Bologna. This week, it was made public that Zirkzee’s €40 million release clause is open to any club that wants to sign him, not just Bayern Munich.
