Malik Nabers: NY Giants have a star, says those who know him
The Giants love the physical gifts and the mental makeup of Malik Nabers, their No. 6 pick, believing Nabers will be the player who changes their offense with a competitiveness and a toughness always on display, the humility to handle all that comes with the position he now finds himself in, not to mention the confidence to convince others of that immense potential. Those closest to Nabers believe he is up to the challenge.

A Bold Prediction for a Rookie in the 2024 class | ESPN
Liz Loza, fantasy and sports bettinganalyst: Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers will lead all rookies in yards per reception this season. A highly productive and consistent downfield target at LSU, Nabers figures to emerge as the Giants’ most leaned-on pass-catcher. He might have an inefficient season due to the issues within the offense and under center, but Naber’s projected volume in tandem with his vertical stretchability figures a 1,000-plus receiving-yard effort.

Jude McAtamney might have the thinnest college football resume of any of the Giants undrafted free agents. But he has a stronger chance than most to earn a spot on the Giants’ practice squad this season. That’s because of a new NFL rule that grants each team an exemption to carry an international player on its practice squad. The Giants could carry McAtamney, the Rutgers kicker from Northern Ireland, as the 17th member of their practice squad this season.

CB: Andru Phillips, New York Giants (Round 3, No. 70)
Physical traits go a long way in the NFL, to be sure, and Phillips offers plenty there (42-inch vertical, 4.48 speed). But to survive as a defender, especially at corner, the mental game is beyond critical. Arguably the most versatile corner in this draft, Phillips also can play at either safety spot. He’s not going to reset the CB market any time soon, but he’s perfect for a team like the Giants: a very savvy, dependable, intense player who loves to fit the run and understands pass concepts as well as anyone his age.
Best shape of his career
Brian Daboll is asked how he came into rookie mini camp looking so good:

4. Brian Burns. Of everyone in my top 10, he seems like the safest lock to play like a star for his new team in 2024. Unlike Allen and Diggs, the 26-year-old is still squarely in his prime, and unlike Jeudy, he’s a proven entity with a high floor. Burns has had a double-digit pressure rate every year of his career, and he should team with Kayvon Thibodeaux to boost a defense that finished 30th in pressure rate last season.
