We’re all about silver linings.

Although star running back Saquon Barkley signed with the Eagles over the offseason, the New York Giants have retained quite a bit of their core.

Quarterback Daniel Jones is still with the squad; Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and standout outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux didn’t go anywhere either.

Plus, over the offseason, the Giants traded for pass rusher Brian Burns, signed wide receiver Allen Robinson and drafted wideout Malik Nabers.

If things go their way at their home MetLife Stadium, it’s certainly possible Brian Daboll’s squad could be downright competitive.
