NFL analyst says New York Giants offense ‘could surprise’ in 2024

The New York Giants offense isn’t expected to get much love after the disastrous season it put together just one season ago.

That remained true in Bleacher Report’s ranking of every NFL offense going into the 2024 season. The Giants came in at No. 30 with only the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots faring worse.

While Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report ranked the Giants offense among the worst units in the NFL, he also left room to be surprised in 2024.

Most of the improvement needs to come from young players growing into their roles. Evan Neal is going to get another chance at right tackle. Jalin Hyatt is going to have every opportunity to carve out a large role in the passing game. The same can be said for Wan’Dale Robinson.

Brian Daboll did turn the offense around in 2022 with Jones at the helm. If he stays healthy, Nabers is electric from Day 1 and others step up, this offense could surprise.

The Giants did have more success in 2022, which was Daboll’s first season as head coach. They reached the divisional round of the playoffs while committing the second-fewest turnovers in the NFL.
