NY Giants strength of schedule is already a cause of concern for 2024

Things are not going to be easy for the G-Men this season

After the suffering NY Giants fans went through in 2023, we sure hope that things go a little bit better for Big Blue this upcoming campaign. Between the injuries and inconsistent play on both sides of the ball, the Giants limped their way to a 6-11 record – of course missing the postseason.

Now, though, general manager Joe Schoen is hoping that some of his big offseason additions will get this team on the right track. The list includes trading for stud pass-rusher Brian Burns. However, things are already looking tough for New York, as they have the sixth-hardest schedule leading up to Week 1:

The NY Giants could be in for a long 2024 season in Year 3 for Brian Daboll

During the magical 2022 campaign, the Giants posted several heartstopping upsets and that will need to be the case again in ’24, as they’re set to take on some talented squads. While we’re waiting for the schedule to be official on May 15, we do know who the Giants will be facing. In case you missed it, we’ve got the ’24 opponents for you below:

NY Giants home games: Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Saints, Bucs, Ravens, Bengals, Vikings and Colts

NY Giants away games: Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Seahawks, Falcons, Panthers, Browns and Steelers

Things surely won’t be easy. The Giants have dominated Washington in recent years and there’s buzz the two teams could face off Week 1, but keep in mind that it’s a new era in Washington and No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels has people fired up about the future of the organization.

Every single NFC East showdown will be an uphill climb, including the two vs. Dallas. The Giants have been dominated by Dallas in recent years, but the hope is that things will change in ’24. For that to happen, Brian Daboll will need his guys to be at their best from start to finish. Remember the embarrassing 40-0 loss to the Cowboys last year? Yeah, we don’t want to see anything even close to that effort.
