New York Giants release official 2024 schedule

The 100th season of Giants football will feature two games on Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys, one on the road on Thanksgiving afternoon, and one at the beginning of a five-week stretch in which the Giants will play three prime-time games. The first-ever regular season game in Germany was previously announced.

The Giants will play the Minnesota Vikings at home to start the 2024 season, the Eagles in Philadelphia to close it off, and the Carolina Panthers in Munich’s Allianz Arena on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 Eastern time. The week following their match in Germany, they will have a bye. They play three night games: Thursday, September 26, at home against Dallas; Sunday, October 13, at MetLife Stadium against Cincinnati; and Monday, October 28, away to Pittsburgh. For the second year in a row, the Giants will play on Thanksgiving in Dallas; they were in Philadelphia on Christmas Day last year. This will be their third consecutive huge holiday game.

Twice, in Weeks 6-7 against Cincinnati and Philadelphia and Weeks 14–15 against New Orleans and Baltimore, the Giants will play back-to-back home games. Only once, in Weeks 2-3, will they travel to Cleveland and Washington on consecutive days. The Giants unveiled a number of activities and events this week to commemorate their 100th season, including the release of a list of the Top 100 players in club history, a poll to determine the best play in team history, and exclusive 100th season gear. After the league switched to a 17-game schedule in 2021, NFC teams will play nine home games and eight away games in their fourth season of play.

The AFC North is the only division in which all four teams finished above.500 in 2023, and the NFC East will play the NFC South and the AFC North. The Giants will host the third-place squads from the NFC North (Minnesota) and AFC South (Indianapolis) and go on the road to play the NFC West (Seattle) because they finished third in the division.
